I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually going ahead.
